Arthur's Day 2011

Three days was Arthur's Day and let's hope everyone who went there have a blast. Taio Cruz was in town and he really is the Dynamite. All you need to know is the fact that more than 15,000 Arthur (booze?) lover attended the event. The event was held at Speed City Kuala Lumpur. 

Guinness definitely knows how to throw a party. People were dancing away at the concert this year. With an awesome party, comes awesome celebrities too. You can see Vincent Chong, Xandria Ooi and Ash Nair there enjoying the celebrations with party lovers. 

Let's not forget our local and other country's artists who performed with Taio too! They were there to take it up Higher! You can check acts like SOLER. Mizz Nina, Dragon Red, Prema Yin, the Kartel group featuring Joe Flizzow, Take-T from Japan and Dandee from Thailand. Talk about a room full of celebrities. 

Near the end of the night, as part of GAB’s Drink sensibly initiative, the people were treated to free water and were invited to wind down at the chill-out zone with food and drinks. Hey, when you party until they ran out of Guiness beers, you need to chill out. Also, they also had the opportunity to learn about drinking sensibly through interactive games and activities. No point drinking so hard and forgetting everything the next day right? 

Arthur’s Day is celebrated around the world to honour the date Arthur Guinness signed a 9,000 year lease on the St James Gate Brewery in 1759, and whose legacy has brought us the globally celebrated iconic black brew, Guiness.
